Would you like to be a teacher at a Japanese school with more than 100 years of history in Vancouver, Canada? The Vancouver Japanese Language School welcomes enthusiastic and community-minded Japanese Language Teachers to join the team, offering Japanese language lessons to children from Kinder through Grade 12, and adults of all ages and backgrounds.
The teacher is a part-time position, working 36 Saturdays from September through June with additional opportunities for teaching outside these hours.
The Japanese Language Teacher develops the student’s ability to learn the Japanese language and build familiarity and deeper connection to Japanese culture. The duties and responsibilities for this role are:
1. Content Planning and Facilitation
2. Quality Assurance
3. Communication
4. Performs related duties as required.

Private Lessons weekdays and weekends; online adult group classes on weekday evenings may be assigned based on interest, experience, and competencies.
Requirements:
A teaching license or Japanese Language Teacher Training (420 hours) is an asset but not requirement.
