The Travel Japanese course is specially designed for adult beginners, so you don’t need any background in Japanese to join.
In this course, you’ll learn a wide range of useful travel phrases, practical conversations, and fun cultural tips and etiquette to help you feel more confident and comfortable while traveling in Japan.
You don’t need to purchase a textbook for this class. All learning materials will be provided.
You also won’t need to learn any Japanese characters or complicated grammar rules — the focus is on simple, practical communication you can actually use on your trip.

Introduction to Hot Springs & Ryokan, Kaiseki Ryoori
Confirming reservations, checking in, and asking for recommendations
Week 5: Getting Around train
Ask for directions to specific places (e.g. the train station) and learn how to travel by bus, train, and taxi, and how to navigate the airport
Learn about conversations for talking with locals at tourist spots
