We are looking to the community to share family photos (especially informal snapshots) and stories relating to sports days, plays, speech contests, picnics, special events, Gakuyukai & Boshikai events that relate to the VJLS-JH both before and after WWII.
We are also looking for photos of Japanese language schools or classes through the Internment period in the camps or self-supporting sites.
We would particularly like to learn of any pre-war VJLS teachers who continued teaching in an Internment Camp, or elsewhere.

Contact us by October 6, 2025 if possible so we can consider your photographs or stories in the final phase of exhibit development.
We would welcome additional materials and stories after this date, but we may not be able to consider them for inclusion in the exhibits at this time.
