Adult C covers Lessons 13–18 of Genki 2 (3rd Edition), focusing on expanding your expressive range.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
Discuss possibilities, abilities, and make recommendations: Use the potential form to talk about your skills and abilities, while confidently offering suggestions to others.
Describe your future self: Casually express your plans, intentions, and goals for the future using the volitional form.
Give and receive favors and explain when others do so: Learn one of the cornerstones of polite Japanese social interaction and show gratitude towards others for helping you.
Distinguish between subjects and objects: Understand the differences between transitive and intransitive forms to explain who is performing an action and the subsequent results of their actions.
Expand your literacy: Learn how to read and write an additional 95 Kanji characters (bringing your total to 240).
