Vancouver Japanese Language School is pleased to offer our highly popular Summer Camp again this year. Why not spend a fun and memorable summer while learning and experiencing Japanese?

Our camp offers a wide range of enjoyable activities for children, including crafts, games, and cooking activities. In addition, during the afternoon study sessions, students will work on improving their Japanese language skills using materials for subjects such as Japanese (Kokugo) and Math.

We welcome children of all levels; from those who are new to Japanese to those who use it in their daily lives. Our teachers provide support tailored to each child’s level, so you can feel confident joining the program.

Let’s spend a fulfilling summer together by making new friends and experiencing Japanese culture.

Cancellation of Classes

Classes may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions such as extreme snowfall, pandemics such as COVID 19, and any other conditions beyond the control of VJLS-JH.

A prorated refund will be issued for camp days cancelled as a result of these conditions.

Prior to June 28, VJLS-JH reserves the right to cancel any July camp dates that have not met the required minimum number of registrants.

Prior to July 26, VJLS-JH reserves the right to cancel any August camp dates that have not met the required minimum number of registrants.

Refunds

The fees paid will be fully refunded if the student withdraw before June 28, 2026 (for July camp dates) or July 26, 2026 (for August camp dates)

June 29 to July 11, 2026, a 50% refund will be given for withdrawal from July camp dates. July 27 to August 8, 2026, a 50% refund will be given for withdrawal from August camp dates.

After July 12, 2026 (for July camp dates) or August 9th (for August camp dates) the fee will not be refunded for camp days missed due to illness or other personal circumstances.

Camp days cannot be changed or substituted. Exceptions may be granted for valid medical reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Long-term illnesses;
  • Loss of a loved one or close relative; or,
  • Emergency Medical procedures and related recoveries.

9:30-10:30 Radio exercises, running and games

10:30 Snack time

11:00 Main Activity

12:00 Lunch time

1:00-2:00 Games and exercise at the gym

2:00-4:00 Studying Japanese and reading (Second snack time)

Fee

$285 per week, or
$65 per day

Kindergarten to Grade 6 (born in 2014 to 2021)
