Pro-D Day Camps

April 20th Pro-D Day Camp

A day of Japanese fun and culture for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6!

Give your children an engaging and exciting day at VJLS-JH. Campers will engage in a full day of cultural activities – arts & crafts, games, exercise, and even learning and reading Japanese in our library. This is a great opportunity for children to communicate with friends and teachers in Japanese, no matter what their language level.

While activities are conducted primarily in Japanese, our bilingual educators are supportive of all campers – everyone is welcome!

Daily Schedule

9:30-10:30 Radio exercises, running and games

10:30 Snack time

11:00 Craft activity

12:00 Lunch time

1:00-2:00 Games and exercise at the gym

2:00-4:00 Studying Japanese and reading (plus second snack time)

Cancellation of Classes

Class may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions such as extreme snowfall, pandemics such as COVID 19, and any other conditions beyond the control of VJLS-JH.

A prorated refund will be issued for camp days cancelled as a result of these conditions.

Prior to April 10, VJLS-JH reserves the right to cancel VJLS camp dates that have not met the required minimum number of registrants.

Refunds

For participants registered for the April 20th Pro-D Day Camp:

  • If you wish to cancel on or before April 10, you will receive a full refund of the fees paid.
  • If you cancel between April 11 and April 18, you will receive a 50% refund of the fees paid.
  • If you cancel after April 19, no refund will be issued.
  • Camp days cannot be changed or substituted.

Exceptions may be granted for valid medical reasons including but not limited to:

  • Long-term illnesses;
  • Loss of a loved-one or close relative; or,
  • Emergency Medical procedures and related recoveries.
