The Vancouver Japanese Language School and Japanese Hall has been located in Vancouver’s historical downtown eastside since 1906. The school, which is a not-for-profit organization as well as a charity, offers children and adults opportunities to learn Japanese language and experience a variety of cultural activities.
The Maintenance Worker will be an essential and welcome part of our team. The position is well-suited to someone who likes to research and solve problems, learn new things, and work as part of a team.
Tasks will include:
Interest in Japanese language and culture is important.
All applications are welcome; this program prioritizes hiring youth who are underrepresented in the labour market, including youth with disabilities, Black and racialized youth, Indigenous youth, and 2SLGBTQI+ youth.
