




Tailored to Beginners
This course is designed for the following learners:
• Those who are studying Japanese for the first time
• Those who have not completed the Adult A or Youth A class at VJLS
• Those who would like to retake the Beginner class or the Adult A or Youth A class at VJLS
Learners of all ages, adults and youth (grade 7 & up) are welcome!
Classes will be held over 7 months, from January 11 to July 26, 2026. Most classes will be in-person but the ones that fall on long weekends will be offered both in-person and online, with recordings available for students who have other commitments on those days.
At the end of the course, there will be an assessment for students who are interested in transitioning to the next class level in September.
