VJLS-JH Constitution<\/h1>

The purposes of the Society are:<\/p>

  1. To promote and foster the study of the Japanese language and culture;<\/li>
  2. To provide adequate physical facilities and academic instruction for the study and understanding of the Japanese language and culture;<\/li>
  3. To advance multi-cultural and multilingual understanding;<\/li>
  4. To advance education by operating publicly accessible day care and early education programs for children;<\/li>
  5. To increase the public\u2019s knowledge and appreciation of Japanese art, history, culture and traditions by providing classes, workshops and courses of instruction in various Japanese cultural activities;<\/li>
  6. To pursue any other objective that may be incidental to any of the above.<\/li><\/ol>
