  • On Saturday, August 2nd, we invited student from pre-war period, students and other people and held a reunion. Everyone is healthy and they enjoyed chatting about their old stories. We felt we are very fortunate to have seniors who can share Japanese Canadian history with our students. 8月2日(土)戦前の生徒や関係者の方々にお集まり頂き、同窓会を開きました。皆さんとてもお元気で懐かしい話に花が咲いていました。先輩の方々から直に日系人歴史を聞くことのできる本校生徒は恵まれていると思いました。

  • On July 7 or Tanabata day was sunny and we could hold a successful Community Tanabata Festival. Some people were wearing yukata or jinbei and families of three generations attended the event.   • We will be participating in the 38th Annual Powell Street Festival again! At Food Booth, we will be selling yakitori, okonomiyaki, kakigori. Also, we will have a booth at Community Booth.
