  • On Tuesday, June 16, we had a fundraising golf tournament at UBC golf course. It was such a great weather and there were 144 players.   • On May 18 (Victoria Day), about 50 people from Tenrikyo came to VJLS-JH and volunteered to do a major clean up. They have been helping us for years and we really appreciate their continued support! We hope our students will work harder at the fresh and clean school building! 5月18日、ビクトリアデーの祭日に天理教の方々50名余りが、ボランティアとして本校の大掃除に来てくださいました。毎年のことですが、皆様のご好意に心より感謝いたします。清潔な匂いと共に美しくなった校舎で、生徒達は日本語の学習にいっそう励むことができます。

  • On May 9, our student committee organized a hotdog sale to raise some funds for Nepal earthquake relief. With students and parents’ support, it was sold out within 20 minutes. The committee is going to organize this fundraiser again and all proceeds will be sent to Nepal. We are really proud of our students! 5月9日、ネパール地震で被災された方を支援するために、生徒会がホットドッグの販売を行いました。生徒、保護者の協力で、約20分で完売となりました。もう一度行う予定で、収益金は全額ネパールの被災者に送られます。生徒会がよく頑張りました。
