By Rika Uto, Chair

On Saturday, October 20, we were greatly honoured to host the banquet dinner for the NAJC AGM delegates and the Japanese Canadian Young Leaders’ Conference participants. As Harry Mizuta said in his speech, it was like “welcoming home” the NAJC because of the important history that our two organizations share. While I was not able to attend, I understand that it was a very successful event. I thank Harry for representing VJLS-JH as the vice chair and the Kitchen Mamaz for catering the dinner. We also thank outgoing President Ken Noma for his strong leadership over the past four years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
